60 years ago today, PRINZ became an incorporated society, dedicated to developing the New Zealand public relations and communication management industry and its members. In our 60th year, we are proud that we continue to provide our members with increasing opportunities to learn, grow, network, gain recognition and share knowledge. And it’s only going to get better. This year we also celebrated the 40th annual PRINZ Awards.
To celebrate turning 60 we teamed up with Tandem Studios and travelled the country to capture stories and memories from the last 60 years. We had the privilege of speaking to a founding member, George Gair, who relived the beginnings of PRINZ. Watch his interview, as well as vox pop interviews with members, in the playlist below.
We asked members three questions:
- What do you love about PR?
- Tell us about a piece of work you are most proud of.
- What does PRINZ membership mean to you?
Celebrate with us and share your #PRINZ60 stories today on Facebook, Twitter (@PRINZ_Events), LinkedIn or Google+. If you have a special PRINZ memory, and would like to share it as a blog on PR Central, please send it to Shayna at firstname.lastname@example.org.
